 you’re being deluged with artist/maker events all over the place. It’s
  a reminder that your Black Friday weekend is best spent shopping from loc
 al creatives.\nIf you’re in the Akron area\, you can celebrate Black Fri
 day\, Small Business Saturday AND Artists Sunday at Lock 3 downtown (next 
 to the Akron Civic Theatre) when Summit Artspace and the Akron Bazaar team
  up to present a huge weekend of opportunities to support the local creati
 ve scene. Summit Artspace’s resident artists will be there in force\, al
 ong with the regional makers from Akron Bazaar\, a spinoff of the long-run
 ning (21 years!) Cleveland Bazaar. So they know quality when they see it.\
 nThe makers market will be running in tandem with the City of Akron’s ho
 liday kickoff Winterblast on Friday from 11am-11pm\, with a full day of ic
 e skating\, Archie the Snowman meet-and-greets\, and the Welcome Santa Ill
 uminated Parade stepping off at 6pm with floats\, costumed characters and 
 of course Santa and his helpers. And it’s followed by everyone’s favor
 ite: fireworks! Winterblast is open all weekend as well.\nAdmission is fre
