SUMMARY:Cirque Us Transforms Trash into Beauty in Their Current Production
DESCRIPTION:\nSat 3/29 @ 7:30PM\nOnce again\, Cleveland Heights-based Wizba
ng Theater is bringing back their friends in the Bpston-based Cirque Us tr
oupe\, a sort of smaller and more intimate Cirque de Soleil that relies le
ss on expensive spectacle and more on performers’ talent\, drawing on el
ements of old-fashioned circuses and reinventing them for its own purposes
.\nAnd once again\, they’ve revisited and revised an old production as t
hey did when they were here last year with DreamCycle\, a 217 show they re
imagined for their 2024 tour. Now they’re re-presenting One Man’s Tras
h: A Repurposed Circus\, in which they transform trash into treasure. They
created the piece in 2016\, recreated it in 2022\, and are now bringing a
new version out on the road for its fifth go-around.  It will feature a
cast of acrobats\, aerialists and clowns\, taking the audience through wha
t they call “a junkyard adventure.”\nThey’re performing at Disciples
Christian Church in Cleveland Heights. Go here for information and ticket
 s.\n[mappress mapid="4948"]
