DESCRIPTION: \n \n\nFri 7/3 @ 5-8PM\n Yes\, there is a Walk All over Wate
 rloo this Friday\, despite it being a holiday weekend. And there will be m
 usic and art\, and even a new show opening.\n First the new: Deep Dive Ar
 t Projects’ Viewing Room\, located in a house on East 156th Street just 
 off Waterloo on the east side of the street\, is presenting a show of new 
 work on paper called Voices of Spring\, the latest of several collaboratio
 ns between Taryn McMahon and Aoife Mooney who have been co-creating since 
 2025. It expresses their shared interests in ecology\, ecofeminism and rec
 iprocity. The artists used found objects including plants\, flagging tape 
 and erosion netting to explore how plants communicate with the implication
 s for the larger ecosystem.. The works include text and images\, incorpora
 ting Mooney’s weavings and McMahon’s printmaking. Both ate on the facu
 lty at Kent State University.\n The show opens with a reception from 5-8p
 m Friday July 3 and will be on view through Sunday August 9.\n Up the str
 eet Article Gallery will also be opening a new show\, titled Finishing the
  Hats. It includes Bonnie Dolin’s “Ladies with Hats” and Easter bonn
 ets by Gail and Annah Trunick. There will be an artist talk and audience p
 articipation hatmaking! That show will have receptions from 5:30-9PM on bo
 th July 3 and August 7\, and will be on view through August 21.\n You can
  also still catch Blooming Tides at Waterloo Arts. The show\, curated by a
 rtist Davon Brantley\, features work in diverse mediums by nine Black\, La
 tin and AAPI artists including Nicole Alvarez\, Ashton Burton\, Liana Gonz
 alez\, Yasmeen Kwan\, Nick Lee\, Younghyeon Ryu-Hurst\, Sebastian Sosa\, L
 auren Sylvia and Jurnee Ta’Zion\, exploring the interconnection and infl
 uence of their cultures between each other. Brantley will give an artist t
