 rby\, one of the area’s most prominent singer/songwriters\, sits down at
  a real kitchen table with another singer/songwriter to talk about their b
 ackground\, influences  and creative process\, followed by an audience Q&
 amp\;A\, and then play a 45-minute set of their music.\nThis month’s gue
 st may be the area’s best known and most accomplished singer/songwriter:
  Alex Bevan\, whose career stretches back to his early days playing folk c
 lubs in the late 60s. He released his first album in 1971\, which has been
  succeeded by a couple of dozen more. He’s best known for his humorous m
 id-70s local hit\, “Skinny Little Boy (from Cleveland\, Ohio)\,” but t
 hose who follow him know that his material covers a wide range of moods fr
 om affectionate\, to nostalgic\, to deeply serious. And if you follow him\
 , you know he’s still tossing off new lyrics almost weekly\, while his g
 uitar playing skills keep improving and his voice sounds as good as ever.\
