DESCRIPTION:\nTue 10/14 @ 5-8PM\nBetter World Day is a Cleveland-based conf
 erence that bring people\, including students\, educators\, nonprofit dire
 ctors and technologists\, together to explore how technology can help make
  the world a better place.\n\nThe theme of its 9th annual conference in 
 “Inclusive Design for a Better World.” It will offer a rebuttal to the
  anti-DEI propaganda sweeping the country and tragically passed into law b
 y the Ohio legislature\, dictating that higher education in the state be l
 ess inclusive.\n“Inclusive design\,” they tell us\, “is a methodolog
 y that prioritizes creating products\, services\, and environments accessi
 ble and usable by as many people as possible\, regardless of age\, ability
 \, background\, or circumstance. Rather than designing for the ‘average
 ’ user\, inclusive design embraces human diversity and the full range of
  user needs. By considering factors like physical ability\, cognitive load
 \, language\, and cultural context from the outset\, inclusive design fost
 ers equity and belonging.”\n\nIn other words\, it draws on and includes 
 the complete range of human talent\, increasing opportunities for progress
 \, new discoveries and a “better world.”\n\nThe event\, taking place a
 t the Midtown Collaboration Center\, starts at 5pm\, with a keynote speech
  by Alicia Howerton from the Cleveland Sight Center at 5:30\, a panel disc
