 rday Night Live alum Tina Fey and starring Lindsey Lohan\, became a cultur
 al phenomenon\, offering a number of expressions and concepts that have em
 bedded themselves in the larger culture. So it was no surprise that the te
 en comedy about a high school newcomer’s confrontation with the school
 ’s elite clique became the Heathers of the 2000s (minus the murders)\, o
 r that it was turned into a musical which debuted on Broadway in 2018\, ra
 n for more than 600 performances\, and snagged 12 Tony Awards. It closed i
 n 2020 due to the pandemic.\nWith so many strong roles for girls\, it’s 
 become such a favorite of regional and community theaters that no sooner h
 as Ashtabula Arts Center’s Straw Hat Theatre concluded its June run than
  the Beck Center for the arts in Lakewood opens theirs\, directed by Scott
  Spence\, with musical direction by Bryan Bird and choreography by Lauren 
 Marousek.\nIt opens Friday July 10 in the Senney Theater and runs through
