 as been active in the area music scene for decades\, singing and playing h
 is delta-style blues on slide guitar. He got his nickname from a congenita
 l leg deformity that caused him to walk with a cane\; after the leg was am
 putated in 1996\, he no longer needed the cane\, but the nickname stuck. D
 espite this\, he’s performed solo\, with bands and in collaboration with
  various other musicians\, and he’s played his music as far away as Aust
 ralia\, Colombia and Nepal\, as well as across the U.S.\nHe’s also relea
 sed several albums including Murder of a Blues Singer (2008)\, A World of 
 Blues (2011)\, One Heart Walkin’ (2014) featuring songs co-written with 
 another noted area singer/songwriter (and Charanghat’s childhood friend)
  Chris Allen and 2023’s Muscle Shoals\, inspired by the legendary Alabam
 a studio where Aretha Franklin\, Otis Redding and Wilson Pickett recorded.
 \nHis solo performances are pretty riveting\, but he’s bring some real m
 usical firepower to his upcoming performance at Cuyahoga Valley National P
 ark’s Happy Days Lodge. There he’ll be joined by blues/rock musician K
 ristine Jackson on vocals and bass\, local blues artist Dave Morrison on v
 ocals and harmonica\, and versatile drummer Rod Reisman who’s best known
  for his long stint with Cleveland rock ‘n’ reggae powerhouse First Li
 ght\, and now its successor\, Shake (pronounced Shaky) Ground.\nGet ticket
