 ery in the Fairfax neighborhood is currently showing a multi-disciplinary 
 exhibition/event called Pilot / Test / Proof\, what it called “the publi
 c exhibition experience of Beyond the Table.” It’s described as “an 
 artist-led exhibition\, album and documentary that treats creative work as
  workforce.” It includes paintings\, installations\, music\, soundscapes
  and film to demonstrate what can result when creative labor is taken seri
 ously enough to be rewarded by meaningful pay\, clear credit and retained 
 rights\, and pathways to future work contracts.\nThe show/event includes a
 rt by Ajha Dean-Phillips\, Mike Miller\, Jazzee and Bryant “Bee1ne” An
 thony\, and music by Will Cherry\, Ben.Frrari\, Sierra Delaine and Los P.\
 nOn Sunday July 26 at the gallery\, you can hear from the creators as thei
 r talk about their experiences as artists: their work\, their creative pro
 cesses and what influenced their work in this show. You’ll have the chan
 ce to ask the artists questions\, meet and talk with them one-on-one\, and
  spend time with works which speak to you. All art is available for purcha
