DESCRIPTION:\nWed 6/17 @ 7-8:30PM\nTwo Northeast Ohio artists who work in d
 ifferent mediums and extremely different styles are currently showing thei
 r work at 78th Street Studios’ expansive Gallery 215. The show\, called
  Emergence\, features work by painter Tessa LeBaron and photographer John
 ny Joo.\nTheir artists' statement says that “Emergence is the process of
  coming into view or becoming exposed after being concealed\, the process 
 of coming into being\, or of becoming important or prominent.”\nTheir co
 llaborative body of work “reflects the inner turmoil and emotional lands
 cape of oneself emerging out of the ebb and flow of depression.” LeBaron
 ’s acrylic paintings and stop-motion videos\, and Joo’s urban decay ph
 otography focus on that theme and its ramifications.\nThe show closes this
  week following 78th Streets’ Third Friday but before it does\, you can 
 stop in and hear the artists talk about their work\, being an artist in th
 e AI era and navigating mental health on Wednesday June 17 in the gallery.
