DESCRIPTION:\n\nSat 3/7 @ 1PM\nSteve Parker is a Texas-based artist/musicia
 n whose bio says his work “creates sculptural ecosystems that transform 
 spaces into large-scale collaborative performances.”\nHis immersive inst
 allation Fight Song which he created as artist-in-residence at SPACES open
 ed there on February 13 and will be on view through April 18. Described as
  a participatory\, evolving sound sculpture\, it incorporates football\, m
 arching band traditions\, and sonic therapy. Salvaged band instruments han
 g from the ceiling and gallery visitors can interact with an EEG brain mon
 itor that translates brainwaves into live musical compositions that reflec
 t the exhibit’s theme of injury\, healing\, and labor.\nOn alternate Sat
 urdays\, area performers will be in the gallery to activate the exhibit ba
 sed on prompts from Parker. This week\, the guest perform is Ben Eberle ak
