DESCRIPTION:\nFri 6/26 @ 6-8PM\nThis weekend\, Waterloo Arts gallery in the
  Waterloo Arts District will be hosting a showcase featuring the work of a
  handful of the many talented students at the Cleveland Institute of Art\,
  as well as alumni.\nCalled Cartoon Magic: CIA Short Films\, it’s presen
 ted in partnership with Davon Brantley\, who put together the gallery’s 
 current exhibition\, Blooming Tides\, a group show featuring work in diver
 se media by nine Black\, Latin and AAPI artists exploring how their cultur
 es interact with and influence each other.\nThis evening will be an opport
 unity to see that show\, which will be on view through July 18\, as well a
 s animation work hosted by CIA students Anyla Jones\, Sabi Nagiyev\, Kelly
  Pham and Alysha Syed. The event is free\, but you must register since spa
