DESCRIPTION:\nSat 5/30 @ 7:30PM\nOnce again\, the Akron Pride Festival (tak
 ing place August 22) is hosting its annual Drag Battle at the Akron Civic 
 Theatre. And once again Brionna Brooks and Monica Masters will host this f
 un and raucous evening to crown the 2026 Akron Pride Festival Drag Act of 
 the Year.\nTwelve contestants will compete for the crown and the $800 priz
 e.\nIn addition to performances by the contestants\, the event will featur
 e last year’s winner Destiny De’vil\, other former winners AJ Quin Wes
 t\, Kardi Redd Diamond\, Alejandra J-Love\, Cherry Veneer\, Jeremiah\, Nat
 asshja Norielle\, Veronika Katrell  and Poppy Lugo\, and special guest\,
  Colorado drag artist Yvie Oddly winner of RuPaul's Drag Race eleventh sea
 son in 2019 and a competitor in RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars in 2022.\nGo
