Playwrights Local’s Play Lab Offers a Staged Reading of a New Drama of Family Conflict

Fri 4/5 @ 7PM

Playwrights Local’s Play Lab series does staged readings of works in progress, giving writers the chance to hear their work read, get feedback and figure out what needs more work to be effective.

This week, it presents The Cardinal, written by Caroline Knecht. Taking place on Thanksgiving 2016 in Ohio, it’s described as being about “a holiday dinner gone awry… a story of legends, legacies and the complicated bonds that tie family members together (or don’t).”

It takes place at the Creative Space at Waterloo Arts. Admission is free, and the play is suitable for teens and adults.
