Are you just not feeling the love this Valentine’s Day? Thinking love is a drag? Well, pick yourself up, girl, and dust yourself off, and go some place where love really IS a drag …as in drag queens.
That would be the Grog Shop, where local drag queen Anhedonia Delight is producing and hosting “Love Is a Drag,” an evening of performances by drag queens (and kings) such as the gender-bending Dusty Bucket, the bearded Peach Fuzz, the edgy drag-with-social-commentary of Lady J Martinez and special guest Ursula Major from The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula Season 1. DJ Zoe Lapin will be handing the music end of things.
“Be prepared for all things love-drunk, jilted, jaded, happy, sad, and everywhere in between,” we’re warned.
It’s an all-ages show but be warned that things might get a bit racy. It’s $10 general admission, $15 VIP including a meet & greet with Ursula Major.
