Feline Fans Alert: CatVideoFest Is Coming to the Cedar Lee Theatre

Sun 3/10 @ 11AM

Tue 3/12 @ 4PM

Want to go somewhere where you can be assured no one will make fun of your passion for cat videos? (You’re not alone; they’re the second favorite online subject after porn). You’ll be excited to hear that CatVideoFest is coming to Cleveland’s Cedar Lee Theatre for a handful of exclusive screenings.

CatVideoFest, described in the promotion as a “joyous communal experience,” is a compilation of animations, music videos and all the cool cat stuff you like to watch on YouTube — only you don’t have to send them to all your friends because your friends will be sitting right next to you.

Best of all, in each town where it’s screening, the traveling CatVideoFest gives a portion of the proceeds to a local shelter, cat charities or animal welfare group. In this case the beneficiary is all-volunteer nonprofit House of Mews Rescue.

Remember we mentioned up above how popular cat videos are? Well, when the initial screening on Sun 3/10 @ 4pm was announced last month, it instantly sold out. So they have added two more: Sunday morning and Tuesday afternoon.

Tickets are $12.50; you can buy them at the Cedar Lee box office, or go here.
