You may have seen Cleveland’s Blazing River Freedom Band in the annual Pride Parade, where this ensemble of LGBTQ people and their supporters, of all skill levels but of undeniable enthusiasm, projects energy and joy.
This weekend at Tremont’s Pilgrim Church, they’ll take their act indoors, but there’ll still be a lot of energy and enthusiasm when they present the next part of their alphabet-themed series of concerts, “D” Is for Dance. They’ll be paying tribute to various dance styles in pieces such as Reinhold Gliere’s “Russian Sailor’s Dance” and Scott Joplin’s “Pineapple Rag.”
It’s a $10 suggested donation at the door.
