The Ingenuity Festival opened its doors at its now-permanent home at the Hamilton Collaborative for another thee days of creativity and exploration. Visitors could sit and watch a variety of performances, from comedy to jazz to vaudeville — on multiple stages or go inside the massive warehouses to find things to interact with. Upstairs there was an art gallery and a makers’ hall; in a room stashed off a stairwell people were invited to come in and play games. Vendors of local art, crafts and other goods set up shop in still another space, while a nascent indoor farm with micro greens demonstrated its possibilities. Even the food was better this year, with local vegan providers in addition to the popular fair-style food.
