Cleveland State Hispanic Festival Benefits Low-Income Scholarships

Sat 10/6 @ 7PM

Cleveland State will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage month on October 6th, and invites the community to come celebrate too. Between 7pm and 9pm, the CSU’s Main Classroom auditorium will be filled with the music of talented Mexican tenor Francisco Bedoy Solorzano, the dances of Cleveland Ballet, and performances by LatinUS Theater.

This event is presented by the University’s Cultural Crossing — a program emphasizing diversity and working to make the humanities more accessible to its students and faculty. With support from the Cleveland Foundation, students and the public alike will be able to enjoy this amazing celebration of Hispanic culture.

Cleveland State students are free to come with an school ID, and students from other institutions are just $5 with an ID. Other general admission tickets are $25, which will act as a contribution to the Esperanza Scholarship fund or CSU’s Radiance Scholarships — both of which make a college education a more real possibility for low income students in Cleveland, and continues to promote the diversity that Cleveland State is proud to have.
