Guitarist/Vocalist John Pizzarelli Is Back at Nighttown With Sinatra/Jobim Music

Thu 6/14 @ 7 & 9PM

Fri 6/15 @ 7 & 9PM

Guitarist/vocalist John Pizzarelli has made a reputation as a preeminent interpreter of the Great American Songbook and other early/mid 20th-centruy pop music. He’s performed and records music by the Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney and Joni Mitchell, among others.

The 58-year-old musician, son of legendary jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli (who’s still performing occasionally at age 92), has recorded more than two dozen albums since making his debut in 1983, with another dozen with his dad. His latest is Sinatra & Jobim @ 50 (featuring Daniel Jobim), his own take on a memorable album by Frank Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim, released in 1967. It features renditions of some of the songs from the earlier album, along with some new tunes.

He’ll be back at Nighttown with his ensemble for two nights and four performances.

Tickets are $40.
