Bonfoey Gallery Group Show Features 9 Area “Artists to Watch”

Painting by Tim Callaghan

Fri 11/30 @ 5-7PM

Bonfoey Gallery at Playhouse Square is Cleveland’s oldest gallery, even pre-dating the Cleveland Museum of Art. But old dogs can learn new tricks, and while the gallery has been presenting “exceptional” local artists for decades, this week it’s opening its first annual group show, for what it’s calling “exceptional artists.”

All nine artists’ work will be familiar to area gallery visitors: Tim Callaghan (work pictured), Matthew Kolodziej, Erik Neff, Amber Kempthorn, Deb Lawrence, Andrea Joki, Dana Oldfather, Frank Oriti and Marc Ross. And you’ve probably read about them all in local publications such as CAN Journal and Canvas. This is a great opportunity to revisit the work of ones you like and check out the ones you haven’t seen.

Opening reception is Fri 11/30; it’s free and open to all. The show remains on view through Sat 1/5/19.
