Creative Mornings Cleveland is a monthly event that features (mostly) local speakers on the topic of the month set by the international parent organization.
This month the speaker is chef Jill Vedaa, co-owner of Salt + a Restaurant in Lakewood. She acquired a strong base of knowledge and skills, working for area restaurants such as Rockefeller’s, Lola, Flying Fig and the Black Pig. She ran the kitchen at Rockefeller’s in Cleveland Heights when it closed in July 2015, and she realized it was time to spread her wings and start her own establishment. A year later she opened Salt.
The topic she’ll address is “Craft.” The talks move to a different location each month. This month it’s at the Clinton Avenue French Garden. Coffee and a light breakfast are included. They are free but you should make a reservation here.
