Thu 7/5 @5-8PM

Last year, local artist/arts advocate Liz Maugans launched a project called the Artist Trust. She invited any Cuyahoga County artist to contribute a 8.5 x 11 self-portrait in any medium. The more than 400 portraits collected were on display at MOCA Cleveland during the Constant as the Sun exhibit.

Now the display will be getting a second viewing at the Gordon Square Microspace a few doors from the Capitol Theatre to be on view during the FRONT and CAN triennials. The new installation opens this Thursday with a reception @ 5-8PM. If you’re an artist who didn’t get in on it the first time you can stop into the gallery Sat 7/7 @ noon-8pm to create a portrait. They’ll have some supplies but you can bring your own.

It’s free.
