The Dinner in the Dark series is hosted at an area restaurant and features six local chefs, each of whom prepares a course, each accompanied by wine or a cocktail. The chefs and menu are a surprise until the guests arrive.
The upcoming dinner is a little different. It’s a Celebration of Life event dedicated to Cleveland.com arts & culture writer who was murdered last November. More than 20 chefs, artists and musicians will participate in a food and drink tasting that will be accompanied by live music and an art auction. And it will take place, not in a restaurant, but at 78th Street Studios smARTspace.
Each Dinner in the Dark donates he proceeds to a charity chosen by the host restaurant’s chef. That charity will be chosen this month by Nikki’s family.
