This Improvised Life at Maltz Museum Explores the Meaning of Identity

Wed 11/20 @ 7PM

Noted local comedian Deena Nyer Mendlowitz is a versatile performer, known for comedy dealing with mental illness, but also for her improv/storytelling format, This Improvised Life. In it, each performer takes the same word, writes a story around it based on their own life experiences and presents the story onstage. After each, an improv segment builds upon that story.

She’ll be leading a performance of This Improvised Life at the Maltz Museum, exploring what identity means to different people, how it changes over time, and what people choose to share or conceal about themselves.

Admission is $10, $5 for Maltz members. Seating is limited so it’s advisable to make a reservation.
