One of Cleveland Opera Theater’s missions is to make opera more accessible to people unfamiliar with it or who didn’t think they’d like it, by presenting it in digestible doses and in non-traditional settings. (The group’s original name, Opera per Tutti, or “Opera for All,” revealed its founding goal).
This week, the company presents Harp & Heels, a performance by soprano Laura Pedersen and harp player Calvin Stokes, at the Music Box Supper Club, where you can enjoy food and drinks while taking in the performance. That performance will feature pop, jazz, country and Broadway tunes in addition to familiar opera pieces.
Tickets are $25-$40.
