Sip a Taste of Autumn at Put-in-Bay’s Island Wine Fest

Sat 10/5 @11AM-5PM

The season isn’t quite over at Put-in-Bay yet. Sure, all the party animals have gone home, but that makes the island a peaceful destination for those who want to enjoy the beauty of nature, the lake and the taste of some good wine.

The Island Wine Festival, being celebrated at South Bass Islands’ two wineries, Put-in-Bay Winery and Heineman’s, features more than 200 wines, both imported and domestic (and local!), along with food and silent auction items to benefit that Lake Erie Islands Historical Society.

Admission is $10, which includes a souvenir glass and four sample tickets. Each sample tickets is worth $1; most samples are $2-$5. Retail sales will be available so you can purchase anything you fall in love with.

In addition, if you buy your tickets at Miller Ferry’s Catawba ticket booth, you can snag a package for $25 which includes round trip ferry tickets, admission to the wine fest, a souvenir cup and four tasting tickets.
