Never Too Many Cats at the Persian Society Cat Show in Parma

Sat 1/19 @ 9AM-5PM

Sun 1/20 @ 9AM-4PM

Is your idea of heaven on earth a large room filled with hundreds of cats? You’re not alone! Expect a crowd to descend on Baron’s Arena in Parma when the annual cat show sponsored by the Cleveland Persian Society takes place.

It’s not just about Persians, either. There’ll be more than two hundred purebred cats of various breeds including ragdolls, Siamese, Tonkinese, Siberian and the odd-looking hairless Sphinx. There’s even a category for “mutts” — household pets that may have come from a shelter or rescue or just wandered into the yard one day. How they “judge” them is beyond us: we’d give every cat a ribbon!

Breeders will be on hand to answer questions about their cats, and some will even have kittens available. There will also be a vendor area with cat-related products and supplies; people food will also be available.

Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12.
