Tri-C’s Vocal Jazz Day, taking place at its Metro Campus, is a day of educational and adjudication activities for school vocal ensembles.

But it culminates with a public concert in the Metro Campus Auditorium, and this year, it features the acclaimed ensemble from Washington D.C.’s Howard University, Afro Blue, founded in 2002. Among other things this group was featured on jazz/pop vocalist Bobby McFerrin’s 2010 album, VOCAbuLarieS.

The concert is free.
