Few people had the outsized presence in popular music like Aretha Franklin did. When she died on August 16 at the age of 76, the outpouring of love and tributes was understandably massive.
The Cedar Lee Theatre contributes its own tribute to the “Queen of Soul” with a screening of the 1980 film The Blues Brothers, in which Franklin had a cameo, pretty much blowing everyone away with her performance of “Think.”
