Northeast Ohio artist Jenniffer Omaitz is something of a shapeshifter, not only because her work travels in unexpected directions but because she literally shifts shapes. Her work, which includes both 2D painting-based work and 3D installations, is all about depth and layers and what lurks behind.
Her new show Intersections, opening at the Shaker Historical Society’s Lissauer Gallery, features paintings about folds, gesture and movement, things in a state of change.
It opens with a reception Fri 3/8 @ 6-8pm and remains on view through Sun 5/5.
