Cleveland Indie Rockers Signals Midwest Celebrate 10th Anniversary at the Grog Shop

Fri 10/12 @ 8:30PM

You blink and suddenly some young punk or indie band that was new on the scene seemingly yesterday is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Such is the case with Cleveland’s Signals Midwest. Since signing with the Tiny Engines label, based in the Carolinas, in 2011, the group has released a steady flow of tuneful, exuberant recordings (including three full-length studio albums) that showcase their strong songwriting and hit the road at regular intervals.

They’ve also maintained relative stability, with drummer Steve Gibson, guitarist Jeff Russell and bassist Ryan Williamson behind singer/guitarist/songwriter Max Stern for most of that ride.

They celebrate their milestone at the Grog Shop with Restorations, Wild Pink, the Sonder Bombs and DJ Guilty Pleasure sharing the stage. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.
