South Euclid’s Museum of American Porcelain Art Invites Visitors to an Open House

Sat 12/13 @ 10AM-2PM

When the Cuyahoga County Public Library closed its South Euclid/Lyndhurst branch located in the old Telling Mansion on Mayfield Road (a hugely controversial move) to build a new space more suited to a library, it sold the mansion to collector Richard A. Barone to install the Museum of American Porcelain Art, a collection of mid 20th century porcelain pieces from five significant, now-closed studios.

Joining the list of Cleveland’s lesser-known museums, it’s open to the public every Saturday and the first Wednesday of each month. You can also call to arrange times to view the work. This Saturday December 13, it’s hosting an open house to share its collection and educate the public on what it has and what it does. Go here for more information.
