Coventry Village Winter Wonder and Lantern Parade Is Back

Sat 12/13 @ 11AM-6PM

Once again, Coventry Village in Cleveland Heights is celebrating its Winter Wonder event with activities from early morning until after dark.

It’s a flurry of activities all day including photos with Santa, costumed characters, carolers and drummers, face painting, the Jingle Ball Holiday Shop at the Grog Shop and B Side lounge, snowflake and card-making and holiday movie screenings hosted by Lake Erie Ink, a holiday window display contest and specials in the stores along the street.

ARTFUL, formerly located at the Coventry PEACE Campus building and now up the street at the former St. Albans Church will be hosting a lantern-making workshop so you can take part in the day’s culminating event: the Lantern Parade, led by Robin VanLear, the creator of the Parade the Circle festival. The parade starts at 5pm and anyone is free to join in with their lantern made from upcycled materials.

It’s free and fun for all ages.
