Artists Archives of the Western Reserve is in the middle of a series of Art Bites: Legacy workshops it’s presenting to help artists (and their families) learn the ins and outs of preserving their work and their legacy.
This weekend, the third in the series will focus and the legal and financial aspects of protecting your creative output, or that of a relative. Business lawyer Todd Masuda and estate planning attorney Dawn McFadden will talk about the ways in which artists and their families can manage their careers, while working, after retirement and after death including legal structures to handle issues of ownership, disposition, and control of their work.
It takes place in the AAWR gallery and it’s free, but tickets are required because space is limited. Go here.
