Three Grand River Valley Wineries Host Dog-Friendly Wine Trail Event

Thu 6/1-Fri 6/30 @ noon-6PM

Looking to get out, enjoy the summer weather and do something fun, but feel guilty about leaving your dog at home? You’re in luck. Three of the wineries in the Grand River Valley Wine Region are hosting Woof, Wag and Wine Trail all month long, from noon-6pm each day they’re open.

Three wineries are participating — Grand River Cellars Winery & Restaurant, Debonne Vineyards, and Cask 307 Winery. One $35 ticket gets you a small plate paired with two wines and gets your dog a treat and a bandana at each winery. You can visit them all in one day or on different days. Best of all, it’s also raising money or the Lake Humane Society, including with dog-themed specialty drinks available with a portion of the proceeds also going to the Lake Humane Society. Ticket buyers also get a discount coupon for Ruff Life on the Lake, the pet boutique and café in Geneva-on-the-Lake.

They’re asking that only well-behaved dogs come along; if your dog is a brat, you can still get treats and a bandana to take home to her.
