Pride celebrations are breaking out all over town this week, anticipating the big Pride in the CLE event on Saturday.
On Thursday, the Rock Hall will be hosting a pre-Pride events outdoors on its plaza, with performances all evening. It kicks off at 5pm with a Pride set by kids from the School of Rock. That’ll be followed by performers from Near West Theatre doing numbers from the musical Kinky Boots; a Protest Fashion Lab fashion shows with work from participants in the LGBT Center’s QYou program; a drag storytime with Isis; a hula hoop performance by Kitty Deluxe; drag performances by Dusty Bucket and Agata Why, wrapping things up, musical performances by one-man synth at Amplexor and Cleveland’s high-energy soul/rockers Apostle Jones.
There’ll be vendors, food and drink available too. Admission is free. Go here for more info.
