Artists Archives of the Western Reserve Opens its 9th Annual Members Show

Artists Archives of the Western Reserve archives, preserves and exhibits the work of key northeast Ohio artists, with almost 100 currently in its permanent collection.

But the work it does is also supported by its hundreds of member artists. And for the 9th year, it’s giving them the chance to showcase their work at the Annual Members Exhibition. Each artist may submit one piece in any medium not more than 24 inches in any direction. The pieces are hung salon-style, offering a visual feast for visitors who may vote for their favorite piece for the People’s Choice Award. The four artists will the most votes receive cash prizes.

The show opens with a reception on Thursday March 23 and closes with another reception on Friday May 5, when People’s Choice awards will be announced as well

Other programming includes a discussion the role of artificial intelligence in art with Jamal Collins and Alfred Cowger on Saturday April 22 @ 2-3pm and workshops with the Fab Cab makers space on Saturday April 15 & Sunday April 16 @ 1-4pm.
