Learn About African Art during a CMA Lunchtime Talk

Tue 2/7 @ noon

Why waste your lunch hour eating when you could be learning something?

The Cleveland Museum of Art’s Lunchtime Lectures offer the opportunity on the first Tuesday of each month to pick up some nuggets of art history information. At each event, a museum staff member, such as a curator or conservator will talk about objects in the collection and provide some background.

This month, curator of African Art Kristen Windmuller-Luna will be talking in the Gartner Auditorium about the presentations of objects that resulted from CMA conservators’ collaborations with mount makers, a contemporary Nigerian artist, and a bird expert. Go here to register for the free lecture.
