Get “Moonstruck” at Cleveland Museum of Art’s February MIX Party

Fri 2/3 @ 6-10PM

One of the most popular parties in town is the Cleveland Museum of Art’s monthly MIX event, when adults take over the museum, enjoying music, dancing, drinks, eats and art, with a different theme each month.

This month, the event is dubbed “Moonstruck” and it’s got a double-barreled theme of Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day, as it falls tight between the two.

There’ll be “festive” food (snacks and desserts) and drink offerings, and high-energy dance music spin by DJ SqrBiz in the Atrium. There’ll also be live music in the Atrium by Bassel & the Supernaturals, led by Syrian-American singer/songwriter Bassel Alamdani, who used his smooth, soulful Otis Redding-inspired vocals to tell stories about the war in Syria and the experiences of its refugees.

For nonmembers, it’s $12 online prior to event day, $15 the day of the event, and $20 at the door, if available. CMA members are free reservations are required.
