In mid 2020, WOLFS Gallery, which has been showing and representing an eclectic array of fine artists on Cleveland’s east side for nearly 50 years, moved their operations from their longtime space on Larchmere Boulevard to a new location at 23645 Mercantile Road in Beachwood. In mid 2021 they opened the doors publicly (COVID intervened) with an open house for “some long overdue socializing.”
If you missed that, they’re hosting a fall open house this weekend. They’re saying that they’ve re-hung the space to feature many of their newer acquisitions so art lovers can check out what they’re offering. They’re heavy on Cleveland School artists and represent the estates of artists such important northeast Ohio painters as Clarence Holbrook, Ken Nevadomi and Frank Nelson Wilcox.
It’s free and open to all. No, dogs are not among their offerings.
