Praxis Fiber Workshop Hosts First Live Benefit Since Before Covid

Sat 12/3 @ 6-9PM

I think we all got tired of “virtual” benefits in the last couple of years, and probably no one got more tired than organizations trying to raise money at arm’s length.

So it’s no wonder that the nonprofit arts group Praxis Fiber Workshop writes, “It is with sheer excitement that we announce our first in-person Holiday Gala since before the pandemic. We have missed you. In the past three years Praxis has gone through what many arts organizations have endured. We have pivoted our models, we have experimented, we have had successes and failures. But we are still here and we are stronger than ever.”

Their benefit, A Fiber Affair, takes place at their gallery this Saturday. Guests will enjoy food catered by April Thompson (with vegan options), wine and Great Lakes Brewing Christmas Ale, live music and the chance to shop their holiday store. There’ll also be a raffle to win handcrafted art pieces by local artists.
