PHOTOSTREAM: Waterloo Alley Cat Project Benefit at Cavotta’s Garden Center by Anastasia Pantsios

10.01.2022 Waterloo Alley Cat Project Benefit

Sat 10/1

The Waterloo Alley Cat project, the brainchild of Blue Arrow Records owners Pete & Debbie Gulyas, has been caring for feral and dumped cats in the Waterloo Neighborhood for 13 years, getting them fixed, feeding them, getting them vet care when needed and rooming friendly cats. In that time, they’ve assembled a team of dedicated volunteers.

This all takes money, of course, so WACP hosts regular benefits which are big parties for cat lovers. On Saturday October 1, they hosted one at Cavotta’s Garden Center in Collinwood where cat lovers joined the regular Saturday afternoon crowd for live music, drinks and eats, and the chance to drop some tickets in the bucket for some great raffle baskets. Naturally, the resident animals — goats, chickens and cats — were a big attraction at the expansive, beautiful landscape space.
