The Oberlin Trio Kicks Off UA School of Music Concert Series

Like all the world-class music schools in the area, the Oberlin Conservatory gives music lovers the opportunity to hear concerts by stellar musicians, including its outstanding faculty. The Oberlin Trio was founded in 1982 and has performed world-wide including recent concerts in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland and Seoul, Korea. It’s also just released at album of trios by Joseph Haydn. Its current members are pianist Haewon Song, violinist David Bowlin, and cellist Dmitry Kouzov.

The ensemble will open the 20th season of University of Akron’s Kulas Concert Series this week at the School of Music’s Guzzetta Recital Hall. Tickets are $12 general admission; all students with ID are free.
