Skunkfest in North Ridgeville is an annual gathering of pet skunk owners and other animal lovers, sponsored by skunk rescue Skunk Haven. It also attracts animal lovers curious about these pets (they’re bred to be domestic, not taken from the wild and come in a variety of colors) t watch them compete in races and costume contests. The event also hosts vendors, many of them with animal-related items, and as always, ferret rescue Ferrets Unlimited who are happy to let visitors pet and had these adorable creatures.
