Lake View Cemetery is like an outdoor history museum, containing monuments to many legendary Clevelanders in business, sports, music, the arts, politics and more. It’s also a lovely natural setting, a sprawling expansive of woods, meadows, trails, landscaping and rock formations.
Many people like to go walking and jogging there, so it’s an ideal place for its annual Run Through History to benefit Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland and City Dogs Cleveland, held in honor of National Dog Day.
There’s a 5K race and 2 Mile Walk, and yes, your leashed dog is welcome to participate. Assemble a team of friends and family to honor the memory of someone special to you.
