Opening Reception Thu 7/7 5:30-8pm

Messin’ With You show opens Thu 7/7 from 5:30-8pm with an opening reception and meet the artists at Worthington Yards,

The show features the work of artists Dana Depew, Michelle Droll, Natalie Lanese, Shannon Morris, Steve & Debbie Presser, Ed Raffel, Stephen Tornero, Anderson Turner, Gregory Scott, Gwen Waight, and Tony Williams.

According to an announcement, these artists “prefer the scientist-meets-tinkerer aesthetic with a side order of folly, mind-bending and risk-taking as part of their practice.  All of these artists test things out in a combination of playfulness, irreverence, and gutsiness while simultaneously employing a wit and curiosity that jokes, messes with our minds and creates a blur between what our understanding is of art, and taking ourselves to seriously.”

Worthington Yards is not visible from the street; it is nestled between W. 6th and W. 9th st., and between St. Clair and Johnson Ct. There are entrances off of St. Clair and Johnson Ct. The St. Clair entrance is marked with a green gate, the Johnson Ct. entrance is marked with a “Worthington Yards” sign & lights.
