If you feel like you need to get in practice for the Feast in Little Italy, coming up in August, head over to Gordon Square for the 96th Annual Italian Festival at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Running for five evenings, it features all the Italian food you could possibly want and more, along with casino games, bingo, a $5000 grand raffle, live bands on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and DJ music on Wednesday and Sunday. On Saturday, there’s a homemade wine & spirits contest, with judging taking place from 4-6pm. There’s even a religious street parade happening on Sunday at 1pm.
Admission is free so bring the whole family.
