Mulberry Creek Herb Farm Hosts Texas-Themed Herb Fair

Sat 6/25 @ 10AM-5PM

Sun 6/26 @ 10AM-4PM

As peak planting season winds down in northeast Ohio, Mulberry Creek Herb Farm, the family-owned organic herb farm in Huron, hosts its annual herb fair to celebrate the joy of seeing things grow. Each year the fair has a theme such as a foreign country or a region of the U.S., and the theme for this year’s 23rd annual fair is “Texas: Wildflowers & Cowboys.”

That means that the food will have a Texas theme with both BBQ trucks and vegetarian offerings, the display gardens will feature Texas-related plants, and the demos and presentations in the picnic pavilion will have Texas themes. There’ll be the usual array of artisan vendors with garden decor, body products, jewelry, crystals and more; a 2,400 square-foot saloon, country line dancing and special flavor of ice cream from Mitchell’s made especially for the fair. Come dressed to fit the theme, if you want.

In addition, for those of you whole still have a little space left in your garden, Mulberry Creek has its usual once-a-year plant sale. Admission is $5 for adults — kids are free and there’s lot of room for them to play.
