Cleveland Celebrates July 4 With Fireworks Again

Mon 7/4 @ 10PM

As usual, the city of Cleveland offers a big fireworks display downtown, with the display ignited at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River. That provides many viewing vantage points: the Flats, Whiskey Island and Wendy Park, Voinovich Park and various downtown rooftops.

Last year we stopped at the lake by 72nd Street to see if we could see them from there, but they were only a few distant flickers of light. However, so other fireworks displays were going on that you could get a good show sitting by the marina at the north end of MLK drive or along the Shoreway by the entrance to the Lakefront Nature Preserve. Just don’t blow your hand off trying it at home!
