With glorious weather imminent, the Cleveland Metroparks is reopening cafes, restaurants & amenities. Twist Nightclub is hosting drag queen trivia. The City Club convenes a forum on internal attacks on democracy. Poetry Magick Workshoppe focuses on forgiveness. The Maltz Museum kicks off its Chagall for Children exhibit.
But we’re only going to move forward if we work at it. Now is the time to stand up for women’s personhood. Women and their allies will gather at the Free Stamp this Sat 05/14 at 11AM. And CoolCleveland columnist C. Ellen Connally is aghast at the cultural illiteracy of people who have somehow managed to avoid reading To Kill A Mockingbird or understand the message of the story. Until we address that, it’s going to be hard to move ahead.
